
Mikhail Yurievich Miasnikov, 61, died November 6, 2010 after a long illness, with his family by his side at home in Spring Hill, TN. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Florida Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Rockledge, FL. Mikhail was born in Tula, Russia. He graduated from the Moscow Educators University with a Bachelors in Languages and graduated with a Masters in Economy and Foreign Relations from the Moscow Financial Institute. He worked in Moscow, Russia and Singapore and traveled the world for his work for over 15 years with the largest seafood importer/exporter in Russia. Mikhail came to Seattle, Washington in 1993 to continue this work as an international business consultant. In 1996, he and his family moved to Melbourne, FL and in 2004 he and his family moved to Spring Hill, TN, near Nashville, TN for medical treatment. He and his family lived in Spring Hill in a country setting which had long been a dream of Mikhail's. Mikhail is survived by his wife, Candace; and son, Michael of Spring Hill, TN/Melbourne, FL; son, Konstantin of Moscow, Russia; mother, Ludmilla Graboshnikova VIP of Tula, Russia; brother and wife, Sergey and Irina Miasnikov of Moscow, Russia; brother, Alexander Miasnikov of Tula, Russia; mother-in-law, Marguerite Norris; and brother-in-law, William Hammett of Melbourne, FL; daughter- in-law, Natalya Miasnikova of Moscow, Russia; grandchildren, Victoria and Roman of Moscow, Russia; aunt, Valeryia Ivanova of Kokhma, Russia; we are eternally grateful to our sister and friend, Natasha Calvert, for her love and help taking care of our family during Mikhails illness; in-law aunt and uncle, Joyce and Bert Nichols of Mansfield, OH. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society .
