She was born in Stamps, Arkansas on August 12, 1923 the daughter of Albert Henry Nix and Buna Estelle Bolton Nix. Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be forever missed by her sons Raymond and Stephen Skowronski; her daughter, Joan Skowronski; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her sister, Ava Nell; her niece, Wavah Fore; her nephews, John Henry Benefield, Jr. and Talmadge Nix. She is preceded in death by her husband Casimir R Skowronski.
There will be a visitation at 3 pm on Friday, June 26 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial with a Prayer Service to follow at 4:30 pm. The interment with a graveside service will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 9am in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington VA.
