Affectionately referred to as “Aunt Bob & Uncle Norma,” they had a special place in our hearts. Aunt Norma taught us  “phonetic knock” - a card game. We’d play the afternoon away. She taught us to try foods we’d never eaten before and to find out we liked them! She even took  me & my mom on a field trip to Strong Museum! And, she threw a baby shower for me before Elizabeth was born. Later, Elizabeth was crazy about the “Empress chair!” Aunt Norma  was a most positive person and went with the flow. She will always be remembered fondly by the entire Longo Family - We loved Aunt Norma. God bless.

Norma was my sisters neighbor in Ontario, New York.  She was a consistent presence as I visited every summer.   It was always a traditional thing to run across the grass, be welcomed in her  home, and have a cool drink and a visit.  She was an example to me of what a good friend and  neighbor is.  My sister and Norma continued their friendship with yearly visits in Florida for many years after Norma moved.  I was able to keep  up with her through my sister’s visits.  
Thank you Norma.  I was blessed by you and you made a difference in my life simply by being you.  
I know you were welcomed with open arms by Jesus, just as you always welcomed me.  You will be missed.  
Pat,  thank you for sharing your mom with many of us.  Her death is bittersweet to those of us that loved her.

My Mother will be so very missed by myself as well, as well as many others that knew her. She was always kind, caring & loving to all she met. Good memories are many from our time in the Philippines as a child, to California, O’Fallon IL, Ontario New York and Florida. The one thing I know that provides me comfort in this difficult time is that she is no longer suffering and is in heaven now with Jesus.

I have a favorite memory of my Aunt Norma.  It was one Lis-Family Reunion down at the Everts' cottage in King Ferry, NY.   I made my home-made Bailey's drink.  Aunt Norma said she was on a diet and couldn't drink such a sweet drink.  I told her it was a diet drink! (shame on me)  She had a few...and we laughed and laughed and laughed.  She always had that big smile!  Love her always.
