Phil was born in Floral Park, NY on December 22, 1922. Phil was a longtime resident of Melbourne Beach. He moved here in 1974 from the auto parts business in Miami, FL. Retirement didn't suit Phil, so he opened Phil's Auto Parts Distributors in Melbourne and operated the business until his second retirement at age 70.
Phil was an active member of the Rotary Club, numerous car clubs, and Bridge Club, as well as volunteering at Holmes Regional Hospital. His loving companion poodle, Nicky, was also a big part of his life for 14 years.
Phil is survived by his wife Agnes; three children, Connie Levine, Carolyn Sheriff and Richard Levine and their spouses. In addition to his grandchildren Vivien and Nathan Levine, Phil had a large blended family. He is also survived by two stepsons, Drew and Lans Broadhurst and their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial on Sunday, August 6 from 1:30-2:30pm with a service to follow at 2:30pm with a private internment service afterward.
In lieu of flowers, Phil requested that donations be made to Chapel By The Sea or the charity of your choice.
