Robbie Annette Tatom

Robbie was born in Huntsville, Alabama to Will and Mary Dupree. Robbie is survived by her mom, Mary Acuff, and her sister, Kathy French, nephews, and family members.

Robbie grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and enjoyed spending time with friends and visiting the Monte Sano Mountain in Alabama during her high school years.

Robbie moved to Brevard County, Florida in 1979. Robbie worked at Port Canaveral at the boat docks and enjoyed being next to the water. When Robbie first moved to Brevard County, she would spend time fishing and going to the beach often. Robbie liked living in the Brevard County area because of the wildlife and scenery that is throughout the area. Robbie enjoyed the outdoors and being around wildlife and nature.

Later on, after Robbie living in Brevard, Robbie attended Brevard Community College and obtained an associate degree in computer technology. After Robbie receiving her degree, Robbie received a job working in the IT department for Harris Corporation working on the Helpdesk. After Robbie worked Harris Corporation, Robbie went to work for the City Palm Bay, and then Robbie got her dream job working in the library for a period of time at the Brevard Community College in Palm Bay, Florida.

Robbie enjoyed the simple things in life. Robbie loved nature and wildlife. Robbie always had a placed in her heart for animals and brought in many stray cats into the house living outside that needed a permanent home. Robbie loved listening to music, reading and will be greatly missed.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a Memorial service for Robbie from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
