

Robert C. Groppe, age 61, passed away on June 4, 2025, at Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital in Florida. He will be remembered for the strength, love, and unwavering spirit he brought into the lives of those around him.
A proud Air Force Veteran and former New York Police Officer, Robert dedicated much of his life to serving his country and community. After retiring in 2016, he relocated to Florida, where he embraced a well-deserved life of rest, reflection, and joy.
Robert was passionate about sports—especially hockey, often shouting a joyful “GOAL!!!,” and cheering on his beloved Yankees with enthusiasm. His home was one of his proudest achievements—a true labor of love where he poured his heart and effort to create something lasting and beautiful.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marisol; stepchildren, Alyssa and CJ; his father, Henry H. Groppe, Jr.; sister, Barbara; brother, Henry; as well as his cherished niece, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Agovino.
Robert was a bright light—genuine, spirited, and deeply loved. His legacy lives on in the memories he made, the lives he touched, and the home he built. He will be forever missed and always remembered.
Visitation for Robert will be Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Life Event Center, Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. A funeral service will promptly follow at 7:00 PM. The graveside service will be Friday, June 13, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL 32754. Those wishing to attend the graveside service may meet the family at the funeral home at 12:00 PM to follow the hearse.
