

Robert “Bobby” Miller passed away on 29 December 2019 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL surrounded by family and friends. Born in Melbourne, Florida on 28 June 1971, Bobby was the third child of Pat and Robert Miller and a devoted brother of Missy and Allan Miller.
Bobby attended Brevard and Duval Schools in his formative years, and graduated from Eau Gallie High School in 1988. He also received an Associate Degree in Science from Wilkes Community College in North Carolina in 1996. He initially enlisted in the Army Reserve in 1991 and subsequently transferred to the Air Force Reserve, where he served until June of 2019 when he retired as a Technical Sergeant. Bobby served in the Persian Gulf, in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His awards included the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal and six Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medals. When he was not on active service in the Air Force Bobby worked with the 920th Maintenance Squadron as an Electronic Warfare Technician.
Bobby enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and fishing. He enjoyed fixing things in his workshop for family and friends. Bobby was everyone’s go to guy! However when Bobby is not doing those activities, you can usually find him at Walt Disney World.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Miller. He is survived by his life partner,
Phiengtawan “Welly” Trisophon, his mother Pat Shannon, his siblings Missy Miller and Allan Miller with his wife Gina Miller, his uncle Ed and wife Tammie, their daughter Mindy, their son Michael, his wife Deana and daughter Reva, his aunt Peggy Kelly and husband Joe Urich, his nephews Ryan, Bryan and niece Amber, his cousins Mike, Teresa, Tyler, Amanda, and Matthew Moscrip, his cousins Chris, Tammie, CJ, Brittany and Cody Kelly.
Bobby’s precious memories will forever be cherished by his extended family, friends, and brothers and sisters of the 920th Rescue Wing.
A Memorial Service will be held in Bobby’s honor at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL on 11 January 2020. Viewing at 10:00am with the service at 11:00am.
Following the service there will be a reception for family and friends.
