Robert H. Thompson, 93, of Rockledge, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and came to Brevard County in 1961 from Hialeah, Florida. Robert was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. He is survived by his son, Thomas (Christel) Thompson; three grandchildren, Debby (Charlie) Griffin, Teresa Thompson, and Douglas Thompson; and three great-grandchildren, Crystal Sweringen, Nicole Sweringen, and Tessa Thompson. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 1:00-2:00pm at Faith Viera Lutheran Church, 5550 Faith Dr., Viera, FL 32940, with a funeral service following at 2:00pm at the church. Interment with U.S. Army Honors will take place directly after the funeral at Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice in Robert's Memory.
