

Ruby Lucille Fleming, 81 years young, of Port Saint John, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Francis Hospice. Lucille was born April 12, 1942 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late James Clifford Ayers (1994) and Margaret Hazel (White) Bolton (1966). Lucille graduated from Owensboro High School in 1960. She moved to Cocoa, Florida in 1976.
She worked at Brevard Achievement Center until she retired in 2009. She was a volunteer for the Citizens Observer Patrol for Brevard County Sherriff’s Department. After her retirement, Lucille enjoyed her hobbies making jewelry and painting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William T. Boling II (1990), sister Anna Carol Foster (2017), sister Janet Sue Ayers (1978) and brother Alvey Eugene Ayers (2010).
Survivors include her son, James S. Boling of Cocoa, Florida; brother James Clifford Ayers II of Peoria Illinois; and sister, Phyllis Karen Buchanan of Corydon Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Visitation will be held for Ruby on Monday, April 4, 2024 at 2:00pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US highway 1, Rockledge, Florida. Graveside service at 3:30pm in Florida Memorial Gardens.
