“Ruth” was a devoted wife, mother, and a great friend to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sallie Ruth (Givens) Weatherby; father, James Alfred Weatherby; brother, Mason Weatherby; sisters, Francis Dunavant, Mary Alexander, Jean Jerrell, and Rose Adcock. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Voyd Nelson "Bud" Campbell; son, Dr. William David Campbell; twin daughters, Cherrie Campbell Manchester, and Sherrie Campbell Palmer; sisters, Eva Deal and Freda Bates; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Haas, Haleigh Davis, Denee and Spencer Manchester, Tyler and Leigha Palmer, and Angi Palmer-Manire; six great grandchildren, Jude and Nora Ruth Haas, Aylah Campbell, Liam Davis, and Slade Manchester.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Riverside Baptist Church at 10:00 with service to follow at 11:00.
