

Sheldon V. Tuten, 39, of Melbourne, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011. Sheldon was born May 3, 1972 to Randall Tuten and Betty Nelson in Columbia, SC. In 1978 he and his family moved to Melbourne, FL and was raised in Brevard County.
Sheldon was employed as a truck driver but he was also known as a gifted guitarist, a well known mechanic, and a motorcycle enthusiast.
Sheldon is survived by Rachel, his wife of 5 years, who loved him with all her heart; and his daughter, Maddie, who he loved greatly; step daughter, Alysha Dunn; step-son, Joshua Dunn. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Tuten; brother, Galen Randell (Tina) Tuten; sister, Gretchen Tuten; nieces, Melissa and Morgan; and nephews, Matthew and Josh. He was predeceased by his father, Randell Tuten.
A visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 3 pm to 4 pm with a funeral service to follow at Florida Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to be made to a fund in Madison Tuten's name.
The family would also like to thank all of those friends and neighbors for showing such generous support during this difficult time.
