Shirley is predeceased by her parents, Walter Perry and Dallas Ashley; brother, Larry Perry.
She is survived by her three daughters, Jamie Benell (Bryan), Debbie Weigel (George), and Cynthia Austin; four grandsons, Landon & Mason Benell, and Colby & Ryan Weigel, who were the entirety of her world. She is also survived by her brother, Dale Barker (Claudia) and cousin, Gerald Harden (Barbara), who she loved and considered a brother; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shirley loved Pepsi Cola & Maryland Fried Chicken. She enjoyed dancing, horseback riding, country music, bike riding, playing cards and Sudoku. She adored Conway Twitty, Patrick Swayze and the movie Tombstone, “I’ll be your Huckleberry.” One of her most endearing qualities were her fits of laughter that were incredibly contagious to those all around her.
Although our hearts are broken and she will be terribly missed, we know she is in God’s loving arms and is now reunited with many loved ones.
Until we see you again, Mama….
