Chris moved to Brevard County in 1986 with his family. He graduated from Merritt Island High School where he participated in the band and JROTC. He joined the US Air Force soon after graduation. After his Air Force schools, Chris was stationed at Barksdale AFB and Minot AFB where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Throughout his life Chris enjoyed a wide variety of activities. Chris enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen, trying different recipes. Chris enjoyed hunting, but he especially enjoyed fishing.
Chris was always known as a tender heart and a generous soul. He was always willing to lend a hand to help anyone do anything. His heart led him to help those less fortunate, those who were outcasts, and in general anyone who asked for help. Chris was known for going out of his way to prevent inconveniencing anyone.
He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Teresa (Wallace) Martin, brother Michael and his wife Ashley, and brother Joseph Martin, uncle Steve Wallace and his wife Vance, uncle Russell Martin and his wife Teresa, niece Amelia Martin, and nephews Elijah Martin, Isaiah Martin, and Troy Martin.

Services will be held at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
