Stephen G Rozakis

Steve was born in Brooklyn, NY to William & Pearl Rozakis on November 5, 1949 and came to Brevard County in 2012 from Brooklyn. He was a graduate of John Jay High School in Brooklyn, NY, and attended St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Melbourne FL.

He came up in the computer world as a Technology Site Director for a number of hospitals in NY City, Baltimore & Washington DC. He then became Director End User Services at New York Hospital in Queens. His specialty was in helping hospitals with failing technology departments where he would turn around the technology service for the medical staff in order to improve patient services. He did this by managing teams of technical support staff. He retired in 2012 and moved to Florida to be with his family. He began working through Mitchell Martin Inc. as a technology support contractor for New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens.

He is survived by his sister; Debbie Echevaria (Dail), two nieces, one nephew, four great nieces and three great nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5965 N. Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 3pm with interment to follow in Florida Memorial Gardens.
