A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in 1950, he served 21 years in the US Army Corps of Engineers. Upon his retirement from the military, he went on to work for the city of Jacksonville, FL. After 20 years in Jacksonville, he and his wife relocated to Viera, FL and retired at the Indian River Colony Club.
Mr. Barry is survived by his son Tom and his wife Jeanne, brother Don and his wife Ria, five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
