

Thomas Jefferson Beasley Jr., of Cape Canaveral, died peacefully March 13th, at his own home.
Born in Charlotte, NC, Tom grew up in Lavonia, GA. Tom attended Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA during his formidable high school years. Following high school, Tom found his way to the University of Florida. Two years into college, in 1953, the U.S. Army came calling and Tom was drafted. After serving his country for two years, Tom returned to the University of Florida and finished his education with a business degree. Tom would eventually go on to own and operate 10 men's stores and bridal shops in Central and South Florida, working until 88 years of age.
Tom was an award winning photographer, scuba diver, and collected miniature whiskey bottles from around the world. Tom enjoyed traveling overseas and had a special connection to Jamaica. This connection led to his hot sauce business and Montego Bay Trading Company.
Survivors include his wife, Olga Beasley; son, William Beasley; daughter, Dawn Beasley; two grandsons and one great-grandson.
