

William J. Baldwin - Rockledge - Bill, 74, youngest of the late Mary and Charles, an Engineer on the Long Island Railroad was born June 30, 1935 and raised in Whitestone, NY. He passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010. In his youth, Bill frequented pool halls "perfecting" his game, playing throughout his life, and spent summers playing softball for beers, batting crosshanded. Bill was an avid and accomplished bowler and enjoyed golf but claimed he was just a "duffer". He retired in 1997 after 25 years as laborer in Madison Square Garden. Bill and his wife moved to Viera in September 2001. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan; brother, George; nephew and wife, George and Cala and family; cousins, Don and Pat Ehlers and family, and Betty Ehlers; brother- in-law and wife, Steve and Patt Jones and family; sister-in-law and husband, Priscilla and Bob Marvos and family; cousins; the Stauf Family; and special friends, Don and Irene Zarcone, and Joe and Maureen Alenski. No viewing or calling hours are scheduled. A memorial service will be held at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 S. US Highway 1, Rockledge, on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. Please bring your favorite Billy Baldwin story for sharing.
