On Thursday, October 21, 2010 – Alvin Gersten of Leisure World, Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of 54 years to Claire Gersten; devoted and loving father of Lori (Joe) Gordon, Steven (Susan) Gersten, and Barry (Iris) Gersten; dear brother of Tina (Donald) Grushka and brother-in-law of Tzvi (Pessie) Rosen; adored grandfather of Hannah Gersten, Timothy Gersten, Kara Gordon, David Gordon, Amy Gersten, Mark Gersten, and Todd Gersten.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 24 – 1 PM at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park 14321 Comus Road, Clarksburg, MD. The family will receive friends immediately following the interment at the Gersten residence.
