She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie Lee Jackson, her mother Effie Gay Harper and father Jasper Harper.
She is survived by her daughter: Betty Lou and Dale Armstrong of Jacksonville, Florida, two sons: Martin Lee and Lisa Jackson of Rocky Mount and Ricky Lynn and Arlene Jackson of Rocky Mount, seven grandchildren: Patrick Armstrong, Jimmy Armstrong, Brandy Benton, Billie Jo Winstead, Ricky Lee Jackson, Travis Jackson and Autumn Jackson, Nine great-grandchildren
A Celebration of her life will be held Monday, August 25, 2014 at 2 PM with the interment following the service at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Funerals and Cremations Sunday night from 7 until 9 PM.
