Rebecca Tolbert Smith

Rebecca Tolbert Smith age 67 died on Monday, February 23, 2015. She was the daughter of Edwin Lisk Everette Sr. and Jean Satterwhite Everette of Rocky Mount, NC. Becky was known by family and friends as a person who loved the Lord with all her heart. She had a kind and caring spirit and cared for others through mission work here and abroad. Becky is also remembered for her special talents, especially sewing. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church in Wilson, NC. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Tolbert Lee Smith of Durham, NC. She is survived by brothers, Edwin Everette and wife Marlene of Whitakers, NC. And Bryan Everette of Nashville NC, sister, Beverly Batton and husband Henry of Hampstead, NC., uncles William Smith of Wake Forest, NC. and Kenneth Smith and wife Betty Ann of Greensboro, NC and nieces Kristy Sartan of Burlington, NC. Tracy Everette of Rocky Mount, NC. and Alexis Whitney of Reading, PA., and nephew Joseph Batton of Hampstead, NC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM February 25, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount, NC. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church, Deaf Sunday School Class, 1407 Forest Hills Rd. Wilson, NC 27896.
