

Allen was born August 2, 1924, in Portland, Oregon, the son of Grace Batchelor Kinyon and Audily Kinyon.
Allen graduated from Bentonville High School in 1943. He proudly served in the Untied States Navy during World War II in the Pacific.
Allen was active in his church, First Baptist Church of Centerton, serving as a Deacon for 69 years. He also taught Sunday school for more than 55 years.
Allen served on the Bentonville School Board from 1970 to 1981. He enjoyed helping students and he presented diplomas to each of his three children at their graduation.
After working at Daisy Air Rifle of Rogers for more than 30 years, Allen retired as a contract engineer in 1987. Prior to that he was with Beech Aircraft of Wichita, Kansas for seven years.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Evelyn, and two brothers, Vernon and Sherman Kinyon, his identical twin. Allen is survived by his wife Veda, their daughter Sherry and husband Robby Wilson of Bentonville, Kerry Kinyon of Hot Springs and Barry Kinyon and his wife Holly of Malibu, California; four granddaughters, Toni Portis King and husband Rob King of Rome, Georgia, Kara Grace Kinyon-Jones and husband Kalan Jones of Fayetteville, Kala Kinyon of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Gracie Kinyon of Malibu, California; two great-grandchildren, Allison and Timothy King of Rome, Georgia.
