Ame graduated from Hall High School where she was a member of the Retreat Singers. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She worked as an adolescent and child psychiatric nurse until her retirement.
Ame’s love for animals, especially her beloved terrier, Bela, was well known to all who knew her. She had a generous heart for those in need. Having an avid thirst for knowledge, Ame studied history, politics and the Bible. Her desire was to visit the Holy Land.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Steele, her sister Lezlee and her grandmother Gaga.
Ame is survived by her lifelong friends, her pups and the Parker family.
Her memorial service will be at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, Little Rock, Arkansas on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
