Barbara Lee Weeks

Barbara Lee Weeks left her earthly home and went to her heavenly mansion on July 30,2022. She was married to Glen Weeks for over 50 years and they had 9 children. She was born on Christmas Day, 1934 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to the late Charles Lee and Barbara Mae (Londrow) Watson.

She loved going to church and spending time with her grandchildren. She had over 38 grandchildren and over 100 great/great-great grandchildren. She would always pick up her grandchildren for church and spent her days doing crafts and puzzles with them. She always prayed for all of them every single day. She was a resident of Gravette, Arkansas for over 45 years. Barbara worked as a nurse for many years. She worked at many area nursing homes. She went on to work for Bates Hospital in Bentonville for 14 years, followed by Gravette Hospital for another 14 years before retiring.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, and her son, David M. Weeks.

She is survived by her son, Glenn R. Weeks, James F. Weeks and wife, Esther Weeks, Charles L. Weeks and wife, Teresa Weeks, Dennis Weeks and wife, Carolyn Weeks and Russel Weeks and wife, Susie; her daughters, Barbara D. Petty, Cheryl H. Thompson and Robin L. Sevart and husband, Johnny. She also leaves behind many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Visitation services for Barbara will be Monday, August 1st at Gravette Church of God Holiness from 5-7. A funeral will take place also at the Church of God Holiness at 10 am Tuesday, August 2, followed by a burial at Bethel Cemetary.
