Bryan Lee Shope, 45, died on March 21, 2023, in Tulsa, OK after battling a short illness. He was born on July 24, 1977 to Claude Shope Jr. and Connie Peterson. A lifelong resident of Rogers, Arkansas, Bryan worked at Walmart Store #0001 for more than 24 years, starting in the Meat Department. In his spare time he enjoyed playing video games, making people laugh, and watching B movies.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his sister Teresa Mills and her husband Bill, brother Michael Shope and his wife Suzanne, stepfather Lynn Peterson as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew, his close friends Shaun Boyd and Nancy Lopez, and his dog, Daisy.

Gifts made in Bryan’s name will help fund the Candy Clark Pet Sanctuary. The Sanctuary will help ensure families fleeing domestic violence can bring their pets with them to shelter.
Bryan’s Celebration of Life will be held on April 1, 2023 at Rollins Funeral in Rogers, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm. A brief memorial program will begin at 2 pm. All are welcome.
