Carolyn Virginia Fair

Carolyn married her husband, Bill Fair, on March 23rd, 1947, and the two were together for 65 years. She raised their three children and was a loving housewife. She had a passion for sewing, and would often sew clothes for her children, as well as miniature clothes for their dolls. Carolyn also had a love of gardening and spent many hours tending to her flowers while enjoying the warm sunshine. She was an excellent cook, and particularly loved homemaking her family’s Thanksgiving dinner. She is remembered for being incredibly patient, and she never complained, even when times were hard. Carolyn will be loved and cherished by those who knew her, and her memory will live on forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Fair; daughter, Rebecca Booth; sisters, Lora McElhaney and Floy Cramer; brothers, Laverne Graves, Porter Graves, and Jack Graves; great-grandson, Joshua Wilbur; and great- granddaughter, Averie Marie Booth.

Carolyn is survived by: two daughters and three sons-in-law, Debbie Copelin (Tom) of Melbourne, FL, Joyce Harp (Charles) of Bella Vista, AR, and Ken Booth of Bentonville, AR; brother, Ardith Graves of Seligman, MO; sisters, Mary Settle of Salina, KS, and Fern Martin of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Stoney Copelin of Melbourne, FL (children, Ben Copelin, Sam Copelin, and Carolyn Copelin, named after her), Misty Copelin-Wilbur of Bentonville, AR (children, Savannah Thomas and Olivia Pezutti), Casey Booth of Bentonville, AR (son, Asher Booth), Kendra Booth of Centerton, AR, Melanie Hyso (children, Jackson Hyso, Gabriel Hyso, and Lola Hyso), Jonni Tuttle of Bentonville, AR (children, Alexis Tuttle, Aubrey Bright, and Aaliyah Tuttle), Alana Harp of Bella Vista, AR, and Shauna Roughton of Bella Vista, AR (children, Seth Roughton and Dilynn Harp). She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, Beckett Thomas, EmmaKelly Thomas, Autumn Tuttle, and Ronen Bright.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th at Calvary Church in Bentonville from 12:00-2:00PM, with funeral service immediately to follow at 2:00PM. Carolyn will be laid to rest next to her husband at Cave Springs Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Booth, Casey Booth, Asher Booth, Stoney Copelin, Nick Pezzuti, and Micah Thomas.
