

Conrad Carl “C.C.” Clark, 80, died July 9, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born in Inglewood CA., on July 5, 1932 to the late Sherman and Thelma (Eads) Clark. He was the loving husband of Allene (Murphy) Clark of Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Roma Jean Clark.
CC is survived by his wife; son, Roger and wife Sherma Clark of Rogers; daughters, Janet and husband Billy Helm of Broken Arrow, OK and Karen and husband Larry Novak of Liberty, MO; brother, Clarence R. Clark of Joplin and sister Irene Fulcher of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Melissa Wade of Edmond, OK, Corey and his wife Lindsey Robinson of Ft. Smith, AR, Joshua Robinson of Liberty, MO, Katelyn Clark and fiancé Chris Ball and Sam Clark both of Rogers, Jake Novak and Kurt Novak both of Liberty, MO and four great-grandchildren.
C.C. was a very proud member of the U.S. Navy. He served during the Korean conflict aboard the U.S.S. William Seiverling as a dispersing clerk. He also played on the naval traveling baseball team in California and Alaska.
C.C. sold insurance for State Farm for 33 years and was recognized for service to the community of Rogers and national sales achievements. C.C.’s involvement in the community included former Board of Director of F & M Bank, Lions Club, Rogers Flying Club, and the Rogers Elks Lodge. He was responsible for donating the elk head that currently hangs in the lodge. C.C. also enjoyed working on Keith Ferguson’s campaign for Sheriff of Benton County and organized the making and distribution of campaign signs.
He enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting, and living life to its fullest. He spent his retirement summers in Gunnison, Co. with Allene and their Colorado friends. He was a founding member of Southside Church of Christ in Rogers.
Family visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 12:30 at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm. There will be a private burial at a later date. Services are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
