Elizabeth Ann Pendergraft

Elizabeth Ann “Buzz” Pendergraft, 70, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Buzz was born November 20, 1949 in Bentonville where she would continue to reside with her family and found a love of cooking, camping, fishing, and traveling. Liz retired from Peoples Community Bank of Seligman, MO after 15 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harlen John and Mary Jane Robbins Goodnight, and her loving husband, Don E. Pendergraft. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Lorri Wright; sister Donna Moten; brother Larry Goodnight; loving cousins Ronnie Goodnight and Carroll Thomas; and two nieces, Rachel Harris and Kirby Moten. Grandma Liz is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Michael Wright and his wife Paige and Joey Wright and wife Amanda. Her memory will continue to live through her 8 great grandchildren, Blaine, Emery, Kenzie, Makenzi, and Charlie Wright, and Mia, James and Jacob Wright; and her great nephew Landon Harris. Elizabeth spent the last few years of her life in Berryville with her companion, Henry Hudson and best friend Buddy where she made numerous friends and touched the lives of many. Her best friend Tom and his wife George Tabor graciously welcomed Liz into their home this year and became a saving grace to her family, caring for her and keeping her safe and comfortable. No words will ever amount to the immense gratitude that is deservingly owed to Tom and George for keeping Elizabeth’s spirits high when it otherwise seemed impossible. Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers beginning at 9:00am, a Memorial Service at 10:30am and interment in Bentonville Cemetery to follow.
