Gary was a family man. He felt his greatest achievement was raising three strong, independent, educated daughters in partnership with his wife, Cheryl . Gary cherished the time he had with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He frequently put on a better show during a game than the team on the field. Gary was seen around town doing errands with his faithful companion, dog, Beau. Gary was best known by family and friends for his unique and special sense of humor. Gary enjoyed his work and opportunities to travel as a Sr. Principal Consultant at Oracle.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, of the home; parents Cliff and Peggy Wright of Jacksonville; daughters Megan Schultz and husband Nate of Rogers, Meredith Hammons and husband Thad of Fayetteville, and Lauren Onstott and husband Ben on Springdale; grandchildren Melia, Reece, Landon, Hudson and Kylie (on the way). He is also survived by his brothers, Dr. Chuck Wright of Hot Springs, Larry Wright of Little Rock, and numerous other family members.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, November 7, 2011 in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Online condolences may be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
