Hania Boatman, 71, died December 1, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, AR. She was born on September 14, 1940 to the late Casimir P. and Amelia (Zalewski) Jakowiec, Sr. She was the loving wife of the late Roger L. Boatman.
She loved to play the piano and listen to classical music. She was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Pius X Church in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Hania is survived by her three sons; John Boatman of FL, Paul Boatman of AR, and Stephen and Lisa Boatman of OK; brother, Casimir P. Jakowiec, Jr. of MA ; three granddaughters, Barbara Boatman, Emily Boatman Thomas and Lori Bess Boatman; one great-grandson.
She is predeceased by her sister, Joyce Piszcz.
A Funeral will be Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 11:00 am at Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers, AR. Her burial will be at a later date in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, IA.
