Being an avid outdoorsman, Jim reveled in the time he was able to enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, and sports. Each holiday brought him immense joy as he eagerly shared his holiday spirit, exterior illumination expertise, and woodworking skills with elaborate displays. He always found a way to make us laugh. His passion was taking care of his family, his friends, and of course, his drivers. He was the giving tree.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Chasity (Shawn) Moeller of Searcy, AR, James “JC” (Jessie) Brown of Centerton, AR, Cameron (Jessica) Brown of Rutland, VT, his brother, Rick Brown of Georgia, nine grandchildren, his beloved dog Twixie, and numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father William “Billy” Clarence Brown, his mother, Velma Joada Vanhook, his step-father Paul Vanhook, and his grandparents.
All are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 12 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 13 at Rollins Funeral Home.
