James "Jim" Edward Jones

James was an all around amazing person, loved everyone he met and would give the shirt off his back if he knew it would help. His love of cars, horses and music were known to anyone who met him. His years at Cobb Vantress/ Tyson were loaded with learning, meeting new people, and acquiring numerous friends. He retired after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s. He also enjoyed anything to do with his horse-love, Little Man; from steer-roping to trail riding, they did it all together. He had the joy of being married three times, to Beatrice, Mary and his current spouse, Linda. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren and teaching them how to be mischievous.

Jim is preceded in death by: one son, Michael; siblings Winfred, Aubrey, Joe and Juanita; daughter Alicia; grandson, Randy Searcy; and three of the loves of his life, Mary Jones, Beatrice Osborne, and Little Man.

He is survived by: his wife, Linda Jones; children, Jimmy Jones (Amy Jones), Angela Meek, Regina Mcguire (Tommy McGuire), Jamye Jones (Erin Tolly); stepchildren, Bobby Price and Shannon Price (Shannon Shook); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 9th at 2:00PM at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
