John was a lifetime resident of Rogers where he worked in the Accounting Department at Daisy, was a comptroller for Demand Foods in Springdale, and then returned to the family owned business, Hawkins Plumbing in Rogers. He then operated Hawkins Silk and Wellness in Rogers. He was veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his Nephew, Gale Hall of Rogers. He was preceded in death by his wife Diana Hawkins, a Brother, Burl Hawkins and a Sister, Martha Brewer.
