He married Nancy Dudley in 1953, and they lived together in Denver, Colo., before moving to Sarasota, Fla., and later relocating to Fayetteville, Ark.
Ken served four years in the Army and later worked with the Bureau of Mines and went on to be a general contractor and real estate developer. He and Nancy enjoyed traveling the world with friends, celebrating holidays with family and dancing the nights away in each others arms!
He is survived by two children, Cathy Roth of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kenneth Cross of Denver, Colo.; also by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren with another on the way!
Ken was an extremely active person who enjoyed outdoor activities from the high mountains of the Rockies to the Gulf Stream waters off Florida. He was a man full of life and love for anyone who is ever lucky enough to meet him! We all will miss his smile and the little twinkle in his eye! We will miss you Papa!!
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to RoyalFamilyKids.org in honor of Kenneth E. Cross.
A memorial will be held at Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, Ark., on March 15, 2014, at 10 a.m.
