Scott was born on January 30, 1979, in Rogers, Arkansas. He is the son of Jim Bryant (wife, Mary) and Pam Dixon Bryant.
He graduated from Rogers High School in 1997, where he was active in Mountie baseball. After high school, he attended West Ark Community College, where he played baseball as a left-handed pitcher.
Over the years, Scott’s employment consisted of mortgage loan processing in Jacksonville, Florida; he was an emergency medical technician for several years, as well as working in the home construction business in Northwest Arkansas. However, Scott’s passion was always being on the blue water of Florida, working in the fishing and tourism industry.
Scott enjoyed golfing and fishing, especially with his friends. He was a fierce competitor in both golf and fishing. He loved watching sports, especially his Razorbacks. But most important to him was the time spent with his friends and family.
His friends describe him as “one of the purest humans with the biggest heart”; “Scott’s joy was always infectious. I always admired his outgoing nature and the fact that he simply loved everybody. He never judged people and always assumed the absolute best in everyone.” “Scott’s smile and laugh will leave an unfillable void.”
He is survived by his parents; his brother, Jeff Bryant, and wife, Ima; nephews Zachary and Braden Bryant; and niece Makynleigh Bryant; cousins Cortney Osborne; Cody and Casey Wilber; Daylyn and Hadley Osborne; and his close friend, Raegan Guest; stepbrothers and sisters Tyler and Jessica Thompson of Rogers, and Trey and Kiley Whithead of Prosper, TX; and various other nieces and nephews.
Preceding Scott in death are his grandparents Olen and Beulah Dixon, Jimmy Lee Bryant, and Mary Bryant Summers; and his aunt and uncle, Vickey and Rusty Wilber.
