Leona was married to Burt Feast on November 14th, 1942 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They had three wonderful children together, and lived happily as a family. A few years later, Burt sadly passed away in World War II in France, leaving Leona to raise the children by herself. She raised many children over the years, even parenting her siblings growing up and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren later in life.
She settled in Rogers for over forty years, living on Pinion Street. She had many fond memories living in this home, and loved her neighborhood and Rogers community. Leona was a loyal employee of Emerson Electric Company for over 25 years. She was a devout Christian who served as a great influence to her family, and she regularly attended Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. Leona eventually moved to Pea Ridge, and lived here for 20 years.
As she got older, Leona moved to Carthage, Missouri to be closer to her family. Throughout her life, Leona lived in several states, including Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming, and Missouri. She is remembered for being strong-willed and tough-as-nails, and she had an incredible memory and would often tell stories of younger years. Leona left an incredible impact on her family and loved ones, and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Burt Feast; children, Burt Feast Jr., Richard Feast Sr., and Brenda Feast; sisters, Jennie Hradecky, Donna Kettner, and Betty Feast; and two brothers, Charles See and Harold See.
