Mary V. Stevenson, 89, died February 7,2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Don Stevenson of Rogers. She was born on January 27, 1922 in Rogers to the late Nate and Jennie (Brown) Musteen.
Mrs. Stevenson was a cook at the Rogers High School for many years before retiring. She was also a housewife and devoted mother to her three children, Lisle Stevenson of Rogers, Bennie Stevenson of Rogers, and Gail Wagner of Alpena, AR. Mary also leaves six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She is the last of twelve children.
Mary loved to paint and was an avid artist and quilter.
Her funeral will be Friday, February 11, 2011 in the Rollins Funeral Chapel, 1401 Hudson, Rogers. The services will be conducted by Jackie Chesnutt of the Southside Church of Christ, Rogers. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 till 7 pm in the Chapel. Pallbearers will be Lisle Stevenson, Bennie Stevenson, David Musteen, Dale Musteen, Michael Musteen, and Barry Musteen.
