

May Belle Brown, age 98, of Rogers, died June 26, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born in Meeker, Okla. on December 9, 1916, to the late William Amos and Clara Belle (Solomon) Guinn.
May Belle worked as a receiving clerk for 27 years at Coleman Co. in Wichita and later for 11 years at Emerson Electric in Rogers. She was a long-time member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Rogers. She married Oscar Frederick Brown on February 28, 1936, and he preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors include her son, James C. Brown of Rogers; sister, Clara Irwin of San Antonio, Tex.; grandchildren, Leanna Bingaman (Gary), Terry Bland (Robert), Leislie Glover (Dan) all of Rogers; 7 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; four sisters; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Brown.
Visitation will be 6-8pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Rogers, officiated by Rev. Shawn Wallace. Entombment will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
