Michael Douglas Swain

Mike was born October 9, 1973, in San Luis Obispo, California, to Robert Douglas Swain and Suzanne Teem Swain. As an avid sports fan, he grew up playing baseball, golfing, surfing, and fishing, while attending Atascadero High School, Aptos High School, and community college. While he loved all things active, Mike was also a wonderful artist, loved to garden, and had a captivating sense of humor. His number one love was his daughter, Emma Swain, the light of his life, his legacy.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Emma Swain, and fiancé, Sara Jones, of Elkins, Arkansas; his father, Robert Douglas Swain of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his mother, Suzanne Lacy, and stepfather, John Lacy, of LaCruces, New Mexico; his sister, Lindsie Jones, her husband, Robert Jones, of Ladera Ranch, California, and nephews, Braden and Brody Jones; cousins, Jennifer Bennington and family, of Apex, North Carolina, and Charla Hanson and family, of Bend, Oregon; and beloved extended family and friends. Mike was deeply loved by those who knew him and will be missed.
