Nancy Kay Rogers Coberley, 65, went home to be with Jesus on March 19, 2012, at her home in Bentonville. She was born July 14, 1946, to the late Roy Rogers and Roxie McCool Rogers of Bentonville. Lovingly known by all as “Mema”, she touched everyone she met and was loved by everyone she touched.
Just this week, we found this written in one of her many notebooks: “Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. When we die we are more alive than ever because we are no longer held a prisoner to a physical body. Bars of bones have set us free.”
She is survived by her loving husband Dick; her son, Steve and Whitney Coberley of Bella Vista; her daughter, Missi and Greg Baker of Springdale; brothers, Roy Rogers Jr. of Rogers, Dick and Wanda Rogers of Bentonville, Bill and Beverly Rogers of Bentonville, and Tommy Rogers of Bentonville. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Seth Coberley, Emily Coleman, Amy Anders, Haley Baker, and Caleb Baker and thirteen great-grandchildren: Kyleigh Bookout, Alissa Anders, Tyler Humphrey, Addison Coberley, Ashlyn Humphrey, Lane Anders, Cole Anders, Dawson Coberley, Lleyton Coberley, Grayson Coberley, Jayce Anders, Bentley Anders, and Hadley Coleman.
