
Nancy Hamm, of Rogers, Arkansas died Monday morning, October 31, 2011. She was born on December 14, 1959 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Doyne and Gelene Hamm. Nancy graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1978. She continued her education at the University of Arkansas, receiving a B.A. in Psychology in 1983 and a degree in law in 1986. During her 25-year legal career, she worked in private practice, as a professor of legal research and writing at the University of Arkansas College of Law, as an Assistant General Counsel at Wal-Mart and for the State of Arkansas. Nancy was a brilliant attorney, a highly-skilled litigator, a tenacious negotiator and passionate professional. Nancy was known for opening her heart and home to individuals on the path to recovery. She possessed a bright spirit and selfless dedication to helping people in their time of need. Above all, Nancy loved her children. She is survived by her kids: Nathan, Aisling and Will, as well as her mother Gelene, her sister Debbie, and her brother David. The celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011.
