Randy served his country in the US Air Force from 1971-1975, and later retired from the Arkansas Army National Guard. He was the Street Superintendent for the city of Johnson.
He is survived by his brothers, Ray Birchfield and wife Paty of Rogers, Ronnie Birchfield and wife Donna of Bentonville, Mike Birchfield of Bella Vista, Jewell Bohannan and wife Nancy of Bentonville; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert Birchfield.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013, in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
