Robert Lee McCarty

Robert was a hard-working father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His interests included a love of the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Enoch and Mary Eva McCarty; maternal grandparents, George and Lily Sprouse; father, Jimmy Wayne McCarty; sister, Jeanna McCarty; brother, Larry Gossman; and nephew, Terry Don Johnson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Jennifer McCarty; 5 children, Damien McCarty, 19, Christina Reynolds, 14, Little Mary McCarty, 5, Jamie McCarty, 3, and Jeanna McCarty, 2.

He also leaves behind parents, Dan and Dessie Gossman; brothers and sisters, Jimmy McCarty and daughter Lydia Ann McCarty, Jerry McCarty and Brenda Carothers and children Kendra Johnson, Christina Carothers and David Baily, Latonya and Rocky House, Jessica and Kevin Clark, and Daniel Lee McCarty, Mary Notestine and husband Jerry and children Kevin Harrison, Kory Harrison, Kelsey Harrison, and Jerri Grace Notestine, Terry Gossman, and Mark Gossman. He is also survived by Lisa Barkley Roughton, Tania House Thoene, and John Eugene Bargay.

Visitation and Eulogy will be held 7:00-9:00 pm Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Services under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home.
