Cortlandt, New York to Marc and Anna (Douven) Scalzi.
During his childhood he spent 6 years in the Philippines as a missionary kid. While learning a native language, his friendly, outgoing, adventurous character led him to win the hearts of children and adults alike. In turn, this assisted with planting an SDA church in Ifugao.
Shiloh was a kind soul who loved people and animals. He enjoyed all types of music but really enjoyed listening to Casting Crowns, his favorite Christian band. He found solace in nature so he would camp and hike whenever he had the chance. He was a great cook and well read, covering a wide range of book genres. He traveled extensively, visiting several countries and many states across the US.
Shiloh loved God. His spiritual side led him to memorize scripture, including Psalms 23, 91, and 121. He also memorized the Beatitudes, Matthew 5:3-10. All these passages gave him comfort.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Marc and Anna (Aunie) Scalzi; his sister, Cheris Scalzi; many friends and extended family.
He left too soon and will be sorely missed, until Jesus comes and we meet in the sky.
