Teresa loved her family more than anything in this world. Her only goals in life were to be a wife and mother and she did them amazingly well. She faithfully loved and served her husband for 32 years. She sacrificially homeschooled her 2 children and provided a clean and peaceful home for her family.
Teresa was a servant at heart and served faithfully at her church until she physically couldn’t. She was an AWANA teacher and especially loved teaching children Bible verses. She served alongside her husband as children Sunday School teachers, VBS leaders, and in nursing home ministry.
Teresa loved to laugh. If you were not making her laugh, she was making you laugh. Her joyful and bubbly spirit made her loved and adored by many. We are grateful for the many wonderful memories she gave us.
Above all, Teresa loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was an amazing example to all that knew her that we don’t praise the Lord due to our circumstances. We praise Him because He is God and worthy to be praised.
She is preceded in death by: her brother, Jeff Mason; brother-in-law, Steve Johnson; and sister-in-law, Michelle Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband, Timothy Johnson; daughter and son-by-love, Hannah and Hudson Vanderhoff; son and daughter by love, Daniel and Katy Johnson; her parents, Jack and Connie Mason; sister, Lisa Mantonya; brother, Todd Mason; grandsugars, Piper Vanderhoff (her Piplove) and River Vanderhoff (her little dude), and a “plethora” of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas, at 2:00pm.
If you are reading this and do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ, she would want you to know it’s the best thing that you could ever do. (John 3:16-17)
