Alice Andrews

Born and raised in Rome, GA, Alice was the daughter of the late Roy Holder and Addie Vesta “Susie” Garrett Holder. She graduated from Coosa High School and later retired from BellSouth (now AT&T), where she built lifelong friendships and proudly remained active in the BellSouth Pioneers Club.

Alice found joy in time spent with her family and friends. She loved gardening, shopping, cooking, golf, boating, water skiing, and playing cards. She was also a dedicated member of her local Garden Club and cherished the community that surrounded her throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Brad (Lynne) Payne and Michael Andrews; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Calvin Andrews; siblings Clara (Sis) Salmon, Juan Holder, and Jimmy Holder; and her parents, Roy and Susie Holder.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Daniels Funeral Home in Rome, GA. The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
