

Born November 14, 1930, to the late James S. Bohanan, Sr. and the late Annie Mae Drummond Bohanan. She was married to the late Brady Everett Drummond, Jr. November 2, 1952, and they were blessed with seventy wonderful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by brothers James S. Bohanan, Jr., John R. (Bub) Bohanan and Charles Eugene Bohanan, sisters Betty Bohanan Mathis and Mary Joan Bohanan Pyle and daughter Kandis Elizabeth Drummond Riddle and son-in-law Bradford Lee Riddle III and grandson Drummond Nickholas Duckworth.
Mrs. Drummond was a 1948 graduate of Rome Girl’s High School. She was employed for over 30 years with Southern Bell retiring in 1995. She was married at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church then spent her married life as a member of Trinity By-The-River Methodist Church. She built a reputation with family and the Trinity prayer breakfast crew as the Queen of biscuit making. Mrs. Drummond was filled with the Spirit of Christmas 365 days a year and relished the opportunity to welcome family and friends into her home in celebration of her favorite time of the year.
Mrs. Drummond is survived by her daughters Kim Drummond Evans, (Rick) and Kristi Drummond Duckworth (David); her grandchildren, Brant Evans (Ashley), Ansley Crawford (Jonathan), Will Evans (Natalie), Ford Riddle (Betsy), Brennen Smith (Gentry), Matt Duckworth (Caroline), Allie Heineman (Josh); and her great grandchildren Samuel Evans, Isabella Evans, Avery Crawford, Harper Crawford, Rebecca Crawford, Ivy Evans, Bennett Evans, Anne Everett Evans, Helen Riddle, Paul Smith and Florrie Smith. The lady affectionately known as Grams will be missed and remembered with love by all.
The family will receive friends at Trinity By-The-River Methodist Church, 606 Turner McCall Blvd., on Thursday December 4 from 12:30-2:00 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00. The family would like to thank the many loving care givers at The Spires. They would also like to express their heartfelt thanks to Marlene Tate for her friendship and helping hands for the past few years.
