Dixie Moore Glover

Mrs. Glover was born in Beaumont, Texas October 9, 1953, daughter of the late Robert Roland Moore and Joyce Adeline Robertson Moore. She has lived in Rome for the past 15 years, and she was an avid servant of the Lord. She was a member of East Calhoun Church of God.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Jule Glover, III on July 16, 2002. Survivors include one son; Josh Glover of Armuchee, and two daughters; Jennifer Glover Merritt of Armuchee and Katie Glover Welch of Austin, TX. Also surviving are two sisters; Wendy Moore Roberto of Colorado, Rebecca Moore of Armuchee, and one grandson Jake Welch of Austin, TX.

A graveside service for Mrs. Glover will be held Saturday August 18, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Myrtle Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dan Hyde officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday morning prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Daniel’s Funeral Home. Those serving as pallbearers are Marion Merritt, Cameron Merritt, Jesse Green, Matt Conaway, Jeremiah Brock, and Brandon Moore.
