
Mrs. Jordan was born in Woodstock, GA. September 8, 1936, daughter of the late Buford Lonzo McFalls and Ruth Henry Ogelsby. She was also preceded in death by a son; Rodney Garrett and a brother Frank McFalls.
Mrs. Jordan was a member of Emanuel Temple Church in Kennesaw where she also regularly attended Sunday school. She also retired from Coates & Clarke Threadmill in Acworth where she worked for 30 years. She loved playing Bingo and going to local flea markets. She was loved by many. She was very committed to her family.
Survivors include her husband; Donald W. Jordan, to whom she was married for 25 years, one step-son; Don Jordan and his wife Debbie of Broken Arrow, OK., three step-daughters; Wanda Dunn and her husband Frank of Dallas, GA., Melinda Gatlin and her husband Rick of Woodstock, GA., Donna Pendley and her husband Gene of Canton, GA., one sister; Sandra Estes and her husband Charles of Dallas, GA., and one sister-in-law Sandy McFalls of Acworth. 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service for Mrs. Jordan will be held Wednesday June 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens 4355 Hwy 92 Acworth, GA. 30102 with Rev. Dennis Southern and Rev. Larry Shoop officiating. The family will receive friends at Daniel’s Funeral Home in Rome, Georgia on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Those serving as pallbearers are; Eric Pendley, Rick Gatlin, Frank Dunn, and Gene Pendley.
