To Clay's Family, our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you during this difficult time.  Clay has been and will continue to be an important inspiration in both my professional and personal life.  I have been lucky to know and work with Clay.
Clay leaves an important legacy of making a positive difference in the lives of so many others, especially here in Georgia. To Clay's Family,
I had the pleasure of having Clay teach me over the years, always a knowledgable in the classes he taught.  Always enjoyed "chasing that rabbit" during class or his advice on where to eat.  He will be missed by all in the industry.  It was an honor to have had in our presence.

* Clay was a staple in the learning fabric of our industry and any of us learned a ton from him. He single handed carried the GRWA teaching program and taught and held certifications in EVERY category. Amazing guy. He will be missed. Go easy bro.

*Great man with a great legacy! He had a very genuine personality and a patient manner. It will be sad to look at the list of classes offered by GRWA and not see his name as the instructor. I always took his advice on where to get lunch when attending one of his classes! Wish I could have learned more from him. Teachers are held to a high ethical and professional standard. Mr. Settle was a man who fit that profile nicely and helped to set the bar as a Water/Wastewater instructor.

At Clay's death, there is a hole in my heart that will never be closed.

Clay was a wonderful , kind ,and caring man, He was a proud father of of his three sons. Its such a blessing to have known him . He touched many lives and will never be forgotten. My prayers are with his family.

My heart was truly sad today when I heard  the news of Clay passing. I've reflected all day long on the good memories I have of him. I will truly miss him professionally and personally. May God bless your family and give them peace.
