Ann was born February 28, 1945, daughter of the late Grady Homer Sexton and Jessie Mae Jackson Camp, and step-father, the late William Lester Camp. She was raised in Silver Creek and attended First Baptist Church of Lindale as a little girl. She was a long time member of Hollywood Baptist Church for over 30 years. She graduated from East Rome High School and later attended nursing school and became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for Floyd Medical Center for over 15 years. Ann loved animals, especially her dog, Mister, and cats, Lesi and Muffinblu. She was a very generous, caring, and giving lady. If she found out about anyone ever in need of anything, she would go out of her way to make sure their need was met as much as she could. Later in her life she coninued to take care of elderly people at Grace's House in Lindale. Her family said how funny she was and how much of a "cut-up" she was. She loved her family and loved being with them and all of her friends. She will be greatly missed.
Ann is survived by a daughter, Christi James of Rome; five brothers, Larry Sexton and his wife Kathy, of Lindale; Randy Sexton of Lindale, Stanley Sexton, David Sexton and Danny Sexton, all of Gainesville, GA; and one sister, Elaine Joy Sexton of Gainesville, GA.
